Each month we meet on the 3rd and 4th Mondays in the High School Commons
and would love to have both
parents and students attend.
Our Next Meeting
Monday, March 22
7:00 - 8:00
Upcoming Events and Fundraisers Everyone Can Participate In:
1) Cookbooks are complete and have been proofed. We are sending those to the publisher and we should have those back soon for the sale to begin. Be watching for upcoming information on their arrival and sale date. For info contact Laura Roberts.
2) Easter Cake Orders will be taken Monday, March 22 through Wednesday, March 31. The desserts will be delivered to the school on Good Friday (school holiday) April 2, between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. and we will have pick-up at the high school from 10:00-12:00. Order forms will be sent via e-mail and given to all seniors as soon as we have completed the list of choices. The desserts will include specialty, homemade desserts so if you are willing to help out by making some of the orders of your specialty please send an e-mail to Denise Johnson so we can put your dessert and name on the order form. We have about 6-8 cakes to choose from so far, and are looking for additional cakes and pies. The last cake orders brought in around $1500.
3) An Easter Extravaganza is in the works for the younger children Saturday, April 3. It would include an Easter Egg hunt, “spring type” games and visit from the Easter bunny. This event would be along the same lines as “Dinner with Santa” but with a spring theme and outside instead of in the cafeteria. We would like to have game booths as well as food booths. Kay Ebner has volunteered to help as well as Kathy Mattila but we need someone to oversee this project. If you would be willing to be in charge of either the game booths, food booths or the publicity for this project please reply by email to Denise Johnson.
4) April 17th will be a big day for project graduation. We will play the Powder Puff Football game at the stadium at 2:00 followed by Miss Moo at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Traci Cameron and Denise Johnson are putting together the game while Melissa Williams and Lori Howard are in charge of Miss Moo. If you would like to help with either of these events, please contact Denise Johnson and we will be glad to take all suggestions and help. We will need many workers for both of these events.
5) April 24th we will have a Class of 2010 Rummage Sale at First Bank and Trust in Cleveland. The sale will begin at 7:00 a.m. and will last until 2:00 p.m. We will need donations that are priced and ready to sell. Please bring those donations to FB & T between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, April 24th. We will need volunteers to work the sale and bring items. Please reply to this e-mail if you will be bringing items and/or are willing to work.
6) We have frozen potato soup left over from the event in the fall. If you have an office that you feel would welcome our soup please contact Kathy Mattila as she would like folks to take the soup, heat it up and sell it or take donations for whatever your co-workers are willing to eat during lunch.
In order for
Project Graduation to be successful, we need
the support of each and every student and
parent.
We welcome
any of your suggestions!
